“Art Work” is a television series about how art actually happens, a roll-up-your-sleeves, break-a-sweat, agony-and-ecstasy look at what it takes to make a work of art, whether it’s a dance, a piece of sculpture, a comedy routine or a plate of sushi. In describing “Art Work”, it’s useful to remember that ‘work’ is both a noun and a verb, a product and a process. “Art Work” looks at both – the nuts and bolts of the creative process and the astonishing variety of objects and experiences that come from it. Along the way, we’ll meet a diverse and fascinating group of people, some well-known, some not, who spend their lives doing art work
